Did the Kia K4 Replace the Forte?
In short, yes -- the 2024 Kia Forte was the last model to bear this moniker. It's now replaced with the all-new 2025 Kia K4, which is bringing a host of updates and a fresh design. This new take on the compact sedan in the Kia lineup has quickly become a fan favorite, as it embodies all the best parts of the Forte and combines them with a new, modern style.

Is the Kia K4 the Same as the Forte?
Not exactly -- while the K4 is taking the place of the Forte in the Kia lineup, there are several differences. The 2025 Kia K4 features a fresh style that provides more passenger room. While it has the same base engine as the 2024 Forte, its turbocharged powertrain option is a different size and provides slightly different horsepower and torque ratings.
The new Kia K4 also offers a host of upgraded tech features and safety systems. Operating your infotainment controls will be easy thanks to an available 12.3-inch touchscreen, and you'll be backed by smart safety tech like Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go -- previously only available on the Forte.
Is the Kia K4 Bigger than the Forte?
While the 2024 Kia Forte offers more cargo space than its younger sibling, the K4 interior provides greater passenger space. With up to 38 inches of rear legroom (class-leading!), the new Kia K4 sedan allows passengers to stretch out and relax with ease, regardless of where they're seated.
